redefining dining| ux research & concept design

The eating and dining experience reflects one’s lifestyle, ethnicity, and heritage and is rich with meaning and rituals. But what, how, when, and where we eat has drastically changed over time. Through qualitative ethnographies and trend research, opportunities arose to address issues in obesity, nutrition, portion control, communal dining, sustainable materials, and product aesthetics. This research lead to the concept designs of three dining ware products to tackle the aforementioned issues.
